1896, Gottlieb Suhner founded a cable factory that eventually became BRUGG. Approximately 2000 employees are working in our 5 different divisions. With 24 production sites and more than 30 sales divisions, the Brugg group is represented in all important industrial countries.

In 2008 flexible debris flow nets were developed within a three-year Ph.D. thesis by Corinna Wendeler. Since then, they have been used all over the world for debris flow protection or slope/riverbed stabilization.
